GANDER – Cy hoskins has been named manager of teh new Gander Stadium.

The annocument of Hoskins appointment came over the weekend, and he will take up his new position in December.

Hoskins, a native of Gander, has been a manager of the Clarenville Arena and the town’s head hockey coach for the past three seasons.

The stocky, hard shooting centre played with the Feildian junior hockey club in the mid fifties and also with the Guards in the senior league. He also played for Gander before moving to Clarenville to take up the manager-head coach job.
