The site was initially created while following my nephew around for the last couple weeks of hockey with both Gander Minor Hockey Association, as well as the Gander Collegiate Concordes. But as a gesture to the hockey community in this town of ours, I am considering all amateur hockey in the town as a contributor and a group to follow, a little community spirit if you will.

If any of the local amateur hockey leagues would like to take advantage of this site for their age group or league please feel free to contact me. Tournaments, games, etc can be scheduled and posted here and arena’s added to the database. This sites gives a little incentive I think to those sponsors supporting these events. With that being said, I must tell you that basically if you want to use the site, there would have to be some volunteer time for someone to update the event or write articles if they so desired. With some collaboration between myself and those who would like to support this site I am sure it can be a success in building our community a little more hockey pride.
